About my career

I entered the workforce in August of 2021, around what was thankfully the tail end of COVID seriously impacting the regularity of work. Since then I have experienced a variety of work environments, some entirely virtual, others entirely in person, but most a mix of the two.

I’ve had experience primarily with finance companies, but most of their principles and working methods are those that I believe would carry over incredibly well to any other industry.

My background in consulting has helped me adapt to rapidly changing environments where demands of clients can be adjusted at a moment’s notice. I found myself to become very flexible and grew incredibly comfortable working with all areas of the firms I was consulting with. I quickly became familiar with the tools of those I would collaborate with to better understand how we could meet their needs.

Now in an analytics department, I am more directly able to see the benefits of the work me and my colleagues do, which has been very rewarding. Being able to understand company data and how the information we provide to our marketing teams helps provide opportunities to the firm, as well as our clients, has been a great part of my time here.

I hope to acquire the skills necessary to become a valuable contributor to the entertainment industry, either as an employee helping shape content via analytics, with insights I can provide via work experience, or more directly with my hope of becoming a writer. Either would be incredibly rewarding to me.
